Trusted partnerships

Melbourne is home. The work is the proof.

Long-term partnerships are built in the unglamorous moments: the issue owned through to resolution, the clear answer and the risk handled before it becomes disruption.

“Globalnet have supported us for over 10 years and have become our IT partner, not just our IT supplier. We rely on and highly value their knowledge, advice, technical competence, flexibility and personal support.”

How accountability works

Every issue needs an owner.

“One partner” only matters if the service model backs it up. This is the operating chain a buyer should expect.

  1. 01

    One front door

Staff know where to go, without deciding which vendor owns the problem.

  2. 02

    Owned to resolution

The issue stays owned through diagnosis, escalation and the final answer.

  3. 03

    Specialists on demand

Security, cloud, network and project expertise work around one environment.

  4. 04

    Continuous improvement

Recurring friction becomes prioritised roadmap work instead of another ticket.

Buyer FAQ

Questions to answer before the meeting

Will changing providers disrupt the business?

A good transition starts with discovery, access, documentation and clear responsibilities before support changes hands. The handover is planned with the current provider and continuity for staff comes first.

Can Globalnet strengthen our internal IT team?

Yes. Co-managed support can provide service-desk capacity, specialist skills, security operations, project delivery or after-hours coverage while your team retains the areas it wants to own.

Do you provide onsite support in Melbourne?

Globalnet is Melbourne-based and can combine remote service with onsite engineering where the environment or issue requires it.

What happens to existing vendors and licences?

They are reviewed, not automatically replaced. Globalnet can coordinate incumbent vendors and identify duplication, risk or poor value before recommending change.

How is managed IT priced?

Pricing depends on users, devices, sites, coverage, security requirements and the division of responsibility. The health check helps establish scope before a proposal is developed.

Our reconciliation story

The Six Vines of Connection

Acknowledgement of Country

Globalnet Solutions Australia acknowledges the people of the Boon wurrung and Woi wurrung (Wurundjeri) language groups of the eastern Kulin Nation on whose unceded lands we conduct our business. We respectfully acknowledge their Ancestors and Elders, past, present and future, and the Traditional Custodians and their Ancestors of the lands and waters across Australia where we conduct our business.

In 2021, Globalnet developed a Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan in partnership with Yarrunup, an Aboriginal organisation with direct community links. Reconciliation Australia endorsed that plan, formalising Globalnet’s commitment to opportunity, workplace diversity, respectful relationships and reconciliation.

Yarrunup connected Globalnet with Aboriginal artist Jai Reynolds, who created this commissioned work after learning about the company’s purpose and services.
